Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of HandoverIQ ("the Service"), operated by HandoverIQ ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. The Service

HandoverIQ is a cloud-based project management platform for construction and retail fitout professionals. It provides schedule planning, Monte Carlo risk analysis, critical path tracking, and AI-powered project insights via a web browser interface.

2. Accounts and Access

You must create an account to use HandoverIQ. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

• HandoverIQ offers monthly subscription plans: Starter ($49/month), Pro ($129/month), and Enterprise ($499/month).
• A 14-day free trial is available on all plans. No credit card is required for the trial.
• Billing is handled by Paddle.com, our payment processor and merchant of record.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time subscriptions. Refund requests must be submitted to info@handoveriq.com within 14 days of your first charge. Subsequent billing cycles are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for full details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service
• Using the Service to store or transmit unlawful content
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Using automated scripts to access the Service in a way that places excessive load on our infrastructure

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all project data you enter into HandoverIQ. We do not sell your data to third parties. We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may export or delete your data at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

HandoverIQ, its logo, and all associated software, content, and documentation are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HandoverIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for losses arising from service downtime.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
